Winston Medical Center invites you to celebrate October as “Breast Cancer Awareness Month” on Friday, October 18th, which is also observed as, “National Mammography Day!”

WMC will host a reception from 1:00 until 3:00 pm in the admissions lobby area of the hospital on Friday, October 18th. Pink cake and pink lemonade will be served to keep with the theme of breast cancer awareness and early detection.

The first 100 ladies to attend this event will receive a free gift.

Winston Medical Center utilizes the latest digital technology for Mammography. Our Mammography technologist are registered, professional and experienced. WMC also offers Breast Ultrasound and, more importantly, both of our ultrasound technologists are Registered in the specific specialty of Breast Sonography.

“Some facilities may  not have sonographers who are Registered or Licensed in this breast specialty. This is vitally important for our patients—the assurance that your breast care is provided by licensed and credentialed professionals. Our patients are our friends and neighbors, so their care is a priority for our staff.”, states Robert Higginbotham, Director of Imaging services at WMC.
