Have you ever been tested for kidney disease?  Stop by the Winston Medical Center Health Fair tomorrow and enjoy a free screening provided by the Mississippi Kidney Foundation.

One in three American adults is at risk for kidney disease. Anyone can get kidney disease at any time. If kidney disease is found and treated early, you can help slow or even stop it from getting worse. Most people with early kidney disease do not have symptoms. Major risk factors are diabetes, high blood pressure, family history of kidney failure or being 60 years of age or older. That is why it is important to be tested.

We will have the Mississippi Kidney Foundation on site providing the tests to see who is at risk for kidney disease.  This is the first time that they have attended our health fair.  We have so many in our community on dialysis and hopefully people will take advantage of this test because early detection and treatment can slow or prevent the progression of kidney disease.

Winston Medical Center Health Fair will be from 9-12 tomorrow, October 2, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
