Mrs. Faye Easley was named Resident of the Month for April 2016 at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home. The event is sponsored monthly by Sta-Home Health and Hospice.
Mrs. Easley attends and participates in the recreational programs daily at the facility. She is known for her quick sense of humor and many residents and staff have described her as kind, giving, loving, big hearted and generous.
Mrs. Easley is best known in the community around the Yellow Creek area where she owned Faye’s Grocery for many years. She and her husband, the late Bobby Frank Easley, spent many years on the hill on Hwy 14 East serving sliced bologna, bacon, cheese and other great items. A quick visit by Faye’s Grocery always ended with a purchase but mostly a lot of conversation and laughs.
Mrs. Easley is a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Louisville. She is the mother of Johnny Easley of Starkville, Ms; Dianne Terry of Nashville; Tina Dufour, Tanya Easley, Dawn Green and Dusty Easley all of Louisville.
