Residents at the Winston Medical Center Nursing Home have enjoyed a full day of Halloween festivities.
The day was kicked off with “trick or treaters” from the K5 classes at Winston Academy. The residents enjoyed passing out candy to all the children. The children recited all the books of the Bible, sang the ABC song and visited with the residents. The intergeneration activity was very much enjoyed by all.
The afternoon was completed with a Halloween bash! Residents enjoyed dressing up for the Halloween party, had a spooky house decorated for them in the dining room area with music to fit the setting. Residents received goody bags. Jane Files, resident won the costume contest dressed as Marilyn Monroe.
